Plant sciences

Research in the field of plant sciences is strongly characterized by the multidisciplinary investigation of the function and integration of plastids in the plant cell. Here, questions from organismic biology, systems biology and cell biology are addressed.

These central questions are increasingly being addressed using genomics methods, but also with classical genetic, molecular-biological and biochemical approaches.
